At Sparkling Shirts, we offer a wide variety of transfer options including, but not limited to, rhinestone transfers, DTF (Direct to Film) transfers, sublimation prints, and screen print transfers. We offer both custom and ready-to-press options to help bring your ideas to life for personal or business use.

We offer a 3-day refund policy on eligible non-custom items. If a customer chooses to cancel or return an order due to a change of mind, a 30% restocking fee will apply.

Please note that all custom products, personalized items, custom transfers, and made-to-order products are non-refundable and non-returnable unless an error was made on our part or the item arrives damaged or defective.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details, sizes, quantities, colors, and uploaded artwork before submitting their order, as Sparkling Shirts is not responsible for customer-submitted errors or incorrect information entered at checkout.

Applying your transfers from Sparkling Shirts is simple when the proper settings and pressure are used. Please follow the instructions below carefully to achieve the best results possible.

Before You Press

• Always pre-press your garment for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
• Make sure your pressing surface is firm and even.
• Avoid using Teflon sheets, pillows, or thick covers unless specifically instructed, as they can reduce heat and pressure.
• Use a quality heat press for best results. Home irons are not recommended.
• Pressure matters! Uneven or light pressure can cause peeling, lifting, or poor adhesion.
• We highly recommend testing one sample before large production runs, especially on specialty garments such as waterproof, water-resistant, coated, nylon, or fire-resistant materials.

DTF (Direct to Film) Transfers

DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, blends, and many other fabric types.

Recommended Settings:

• Temperature: 300–325°F
• Time: 7–15 Seconds
• Pressure: Medium to High Pressure
• Peel: Hot Peel or Warm Peel

Instructions:

1. Pre-press garment for 5–10 seconds.
2. Position transfer on garment.
3. Press using recommended settings above.
4. Peel carrier immediately or while warm depending on transfer type.
5. Cover design with parchment paper or butcher paper and repress for 5 seconds for a softer finish and improved durability.

Rhinestone Transfers

Rhinestone transfers require firm pressure and proper alignment to ensure stones adhere correctly.

Recommended Settings:

• Temperature: 315–330°F
• Time: 15–20 Seconds
• Pressure: High Pressure
• Peel: Warm Peel

Instructions:

1. Pre-press garment for 5 seconds.
2. Place rhinestone transfer face up on garment.
3. Press firmly using recommended settings.
4. Allow transfer to cool slightly before peeling carrier sheet slowly.
5. If any stones lift, lay the carrier back down and repress for an additional 5–7 seconds.

Sublimation Transfers

Sublimation works best on light-colored polyester garments and sublimation-coated blanks. Sublimation will not print white ink.

Recommended Settings:

• Temperature: 385–400°F
• Time: 45–60 Seconds
• Pressure: Medium Pressure
• Peel: Remove Immediately After Pressing

Instructions:

1. Pre-press garment to remove moisture.
2. Position sublimation print face down on garment or blank.
3. Secure with heat-resistant tape if needed.
4. Press using recommended settings.
5. Remove transfer immediately after pressing.
6. Allow item to cool completely before handling.

Important:

• Best results are achieved on white or light-colored polyester garments with at least 65% polyester content.
• Lower polyester counts may create a faded or vintage look.

Screen Print Transfers

Screen print transfers provide vibrant colors and a professional finish when pressed correctly.

Recommended Settings:

• Temperature: 325°F
• Time: 7–10 Seconds
• Pressure: High Pressure
• Peel: Hot Peel

Instructions:

1. Pre-press garment for 5 seconds.
2. Position transfer on garment.
3. Press firmly using recommended settings.
4. Peel transfer immediately while hot in one smooth motion.
5. If needed, repress for 3–5 seconds using parchment paper for added durability.

Washing Instructions

To extend the life of your transfers:

• Wait 24 hours before washing.
• Turn garment inside out before washing.
• Wash in cold water with mild detergent.
• Tumble dry low or hang dry when possible.
• Do not bleach or dry clean.
